A family business and close-knit team

Clean Rite Cleaning & Restoration provides a full range of services for water damage, mold remediation, clean up after fire/smoke or soot damage, remediation for sewage backups and spills, and many other biohazard/decontamination issues such as rodent infestations, hoarding, and trauma/crime scene cleanup. Clean Rite was started 23 years ago by Greg Raso, a Rhode Island native, with a single van. Greg has steadily grown the company, and the range of services offered, to include 17 staff members and a fleet of six vehicles. We are not a franchise, and Greg is actively engaged in the daily operations of the company - in fact, he often works right alongside the technicians!

The initial spark that lit Greg's passion for helping people began with carpet cleaning. After a party dirtied the carpets in his rental, then-21 year old Greg rented a steam cleaning machine to clean the carpets. He was so impressed with the results that he went to his parents' house and cleaned their carpets, too. It was such a rewarding experience - transforming a trodden, dirty carpet into something that looked like new, Greg knew he found something that he wanted to do. It wasn't just exciting to see the carpets revived and refreshed, the smile on customers' faces was the biggest reward!

Greg began Clean Rite with one van, working from home and his father helping him advertise and create a local presence. Over the years, with steady determination, an easy-going demeanor, and on-going training and development, Greg continued to grow the business to service customers for Water Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation, Fire & Smoke Clean Up, and Trauma & Crime Scene Clean Up. Today, Clean Rite offers a full range of disaster restoration assistance throughout Rhode Island. With a full fleet of specially-equipped vehicles, a growing team, and a fully-outfitted facility in South Kingstown, Greg still looks forward to coming in to work every day knowing that our team is helping people get through difficult situations. Clean Rite has always been about people.

In 2017, Greg's wife, Marianna, joined the team and together they strive to create a team atmosphere that feels like family. Safety, continued growth and learning, and having fun together are goals that are personally important to both Greg and Marianna. Our team doesn't just take care of Clean Rite's customers, we take care of each other!

Everyday Superheroes

Clean Rite team members are superheroes to our customers. When a pipe bursts in the middle of the night, or a storm wreaks havoc, our Technicians are ready to answer that call. No matter the time of day or night, they mobilize immediately to load up equipment and arrive on scene to get our customers back to normal as quickly as possible! Although it's true that nobody wants to have to make that call, our goal is to make our customers glad that, when faced with the choice, they called us.
